New athletes, but still the same hopes and dreams, only way better in our athletes! Are you excited about the upcoming football season or any other sport? We are too!

Our new head Lady Lobos basketball coach, Clay Busby, is pumped for the upcoming season. He is happy with his players attitude coming into the new year and hopes for success on the court, as well as off.

“I will say I have been very pleased with their attitudes and that they work hard this first week,” Lady Lobos Basketball Coach Clay Busby said. “Their enthusiasm has been high so hopefully we can build on that and improve week by week.”

Coach Vincent Brown, head Lobos basketball coach, is excited for the new season even though he has lost many great players, he has great hope and expectations for the new young players.

“I’m really excited, it seems that we have lost a lot of seniors from last year,” Brown said, “But we’ve got a lot of good, young, strong leadership, and I think that should allow us to be successful.”

The new Assistant Swim Coach, Sarah Saunders, is extremely excited for her girl swimmers and head Coach Daniel Gonzalez’s girls swimmers that improvement will be made in the pool and on deck also.

“I feel like our girls team is going to be really strong,” Saunders said. “Because we have a lot of young and the potential to build over the next few years.”

Lobos Basketball Coach Donald Newton is stoked for the upcoming season for this year. He is hopeful that our fearless Lobos can become the alphas of high school basketball.

“We are excited, we have had an excellent off-season. We have played a lot of basketball through the summer and we are optimistic that we can build upon that,” Newton said. “We have won 23 games two years ago and 27 last year and hopefully continue to build off of that, but we do need some help from our younger guys to step up, but again we are very optimistic about what the season will bring.”

Head Football Coach John King is very determined to meet the expectations of the team and fans for the 2019-2020 Football season.

“I know there’s excitement surrounding the 2019 season based off of our success last year and expectations leading towards this football team,” King said. “For us to get headed in the right direction, it will require a lot of hard work, dedication, and the ultimate sacrifice, doing what’s right for the team.”
